Terminology
Q: What is a “Dialogue”?
A dialogue is any online interaction between an organization and a Lead or Contact. Dialogues are event-driven and orchestrated via “Rooms”.
Examples of dialogues include:
- Sending a Lead auto-response email with a call to action.
- Sending a quote or contract and receiving an eSignature
- Sending an invoice and receiving a payment
- Sending a donation acknowledgement letter
- Onboarding a new customer or employee
Q: What is a “Room”?
Rooms are personalized micro-portals and landing pages created within the context of a single Salesforce record.

Licensing
Q: How is iDialogue licensed?
iDialogue is licensed per user / per month, either annually or monthly. There is an entry level edition that supports Sales Enablement and document generation, and a “Plus” edition that includes pre-built product configurators, pricing/discounting modules, eSignature, Stripe payments integration, batch processing, and more.
Some add-accelerator packages may be licensed per org.
Q: Can I generate many versions of a document before sending?
Yes. Unlimited documents can be generated manually before being sent. The room invitation counts as 1 interaction. Generating several documents via flows or batches count against usage based billing.
Q: Can I generate and share documents without using a virtual room?
Yes. Once documents are generated they can be downloaded in either PDF or DOCX format for use in email attachments, redlining, sharing via Box, Dropbox… Documents can also be generated in batch, outside the virtual room context.
Q: How many documents can be created using batch processing?
Each edition includes a fixed number of batch documents. A batch document counts as an interaction. Usage-based pricing applies for additional documents.
Q: Can iDialogue be installed in a sandbox? What are the sandbox limits?
Yes. iDialogue is automatically installed in sandboxes with each refresh. Use the “Quick Start” tab to connect test users to iDialogue and Stripe test accounts.
Q: Are community or portal user licenses required?
iDialogue rooms do not require Salesforce community or portal licenses. However, iDialogue components can be used in community page layouts.
Q: Are iDialogue rooms secure?
Yes. Each invitation to a portal room includes a unique, secure link that is intended for a Contact email recipient. Additionally, 2-factor authentication can be enabled requiring the recipient to enter a 5-digit passcode sent via SMS.
Q: How many emails/SMS messages can be sent?
iDialogue emails are sent via Salesforce. Refer to the limits for your individual org. Each edition of iDialogue includes a fixed number of SMS messages per month. Each additional SMS message is $0.01.
Onboarding, Support, and Training
Q: Are implementation services available?
Yes. For annual subscriptions, a window of onboarding days is included (anywhere from 7 to 90 days). A Customer Success Manager is assigned during onboarding to assist with installation, configuration, setting up document templates, eSignatures, rooms, Stripe integration, web forms, or any other iDialogue related support.
Q: What types of support are available?
YouTube videos, HOWTO Articles, and document templates are available.
